UT OMNES UNUM SINT

I ask not only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
~ The Gospel of John 17:20-21

The first and foremost requirement for membership in the Order of Corporate Reunion is the recognition that unity of the Body of Christ- the Lord’s Church- is necessary. Furthermore, members of the Order, as Christians, profess that Our Lord Jesus Christ is and always will be the Head of the Church. Lastly, one must further acknowledge that the Roman Pontiff, the Successor of the Apostle Peter, Vicar of Christ, and Patriarch of the West, is the focus of unity for the entire Church. Thereby, members then submit that Corporate Reunion can only be achieved through the Roman Pontiff. These are the fundamental requirements as set forth by the original founders of the Order.

As written in the statutes of the Order, the following are then required of individuals admitted into the Order:

  1. Members shall further the objects of the Order through prayer and practical works insofar as they may be able.

  2. Special place is accorded to the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in the life of the Order.

  3. Members by virtue of their membership are expected to cooperate with each other in matters of common interest involving the Church, but membership in itself shall not be interpreted to constitute intercommunion between any jurisdiction to which they may belong.

  4. Members are encouraged to devote themselves to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass insofar as it is possible for them.

  5. The office of the Pope is held in particular esteem and the prayers of the Order shall be directed towards his Divine Guidance as the Successor of St. Peter and his role as the center of Christian Unity.

Both clergy and laity are invited to seek admission into the Order of Corporate Reunion, so long as they agree to the provisions and requirements listed above. Please fill out the contact form below and an application will be emailed to you.

Please note:

In the application and due diligence process, the Chapter will request documents such as baptismal, confirmation, and Holy Orders certificates (if applicable).

Please note that although we may request ordination and Holy Order paperwork from clergy, admission into the O.C.R. does not imply an endorsement of clerical status or validity.

Members, who have reason to doubt the validity of their Holy Orders, may petition and request the Chapter of the O.C.R. for sub conditione ordination or consecration. However, as the O.C.R. is not a jurisdiction or church, the Order cannot empower ministers and impart jurisdiction.
